Unusual occlusal morphology of mandibular first permanent molar: A case report

The occlusal surface of the mandibular first permanent molar commonly presents a five-cusped or a four-cusped pattern with the occlusal grooves forming a Y shape or a + shape. What follows is a report of two cases presenting an unusual occlusal groove pattern.
