The aim of the Asian Pacific Journal of Dentistry is to provide a forum for the publication and rapid dissemination of articles in dentistry. This journal features the following sections; original article, invited review article, short communication, clinical report, and technical article. It allows dentists, dental technicians, dental hygienists, and dental researchers to publish their initial findings, new ideas, clinical experiences, and techniques.

The journal title has been changed from International Chinese Journal of Dentistry to Asian Pacific Journal of Dentistry since January 1, 2011.
